Community Meetings

The Salem Square Community Association is here to serve the whole community, but particularly the neighborhood West of the Codorus to the York City limits at Richland Ave, and North of the Codorus, after the bend, as far as W. Philadelphia. 

The next Community Meeting will be June 21, from 6 to 8 PM, at Salem Square Connects, 596 W. Princess St. (the corner of W Princess St.  and S. West St.) Please Join us. 

The SSCA Board of Directors meets at Salem Square Connects on the 1st Tuesday of each month, at 5:30 PM.  The Board is made up of community volunteers. Presently the President of the Board is Benton Jackson, and the Vice President is Sandra Harrison.  If you have a question for the Board, contact us at salemsquareyork@gmail.com . 

The Clean and Green Committee needs a head organizer to lead our Clean Sweeps and other green and neighborhood pride and beautification efforts. Are you this person!  Contact us!

Thanks to a grant from the Cultural Alliance of York County, we are planning a block party for the Salem Square Community on Saturday, May 13, from Noon until 5 pm.  We invite community input and participation.  Contact us at salemsquareconnects@gmail.com .
